Hello everyone! My name is Ellen. I have been teaching Red Cross swimming lessons for 15 years. I became an Instructor Trainer in January of 2010. I have also taught YMCA lessons and currently teach Starfish Aquatics. I currently teach lessons at a facility in Salt Lake County, which will completely switch over the Starfish Aquatics in 2013.
I swam competitively from the age of 10 all the way through college, and have coached children's swim teams for several years. While teaching swimming lessons is my "second job", aquatics has always been an important part of my life.
